For the 1994 Olympics issue, artist Cindy Warren used watercolor
pencils to create interactive cachets that reflect the multi-colored
designs of the stamps themselves. Each cachet has been drawn and
colored by hand, without mechanical reproduction of any kind.
Every cover is a unique creation, patterned from Cindy's original
designs; and each cachet is intended to complement the subject
of the stamp, not to compete with it.
As you see, each scene is being observed by Cindy's cat - the
logo in the corner. (The cat is made from her initials: CLW.)
The back of every cover bears Cindy's signature, and a sequential
number for the set.
Only 70 sets of these covers were made. It is our privilege to
offer the set of five at the modest price of $19.95 per set, plus
$1.00 postage in U.S. ($2.00 postage outside U.S.) Three sets
are available at $49.95, plus $2.00 postage in U.S. ($4.00 postage
outside U.S.) ILLINOIS RESIDENTS:
Add 7% sales tax.
We're sure that you'll enjoy owning these covers as much as
Cindy enjoyed making them.
